Hey, we need some cool GovTrack apparel, right? Design a GovTrack t-shirt or send me a funny expression related to GovTrack to put on a t-shirt, and if I get some good responses I’ll pick a winner and send back a $100 gift certificate to somewhere. Email your submissions to operations@govtrack.us.

I’m on this! When is the deadline?
Deadline- Say, two more weeks?
that works for me!
Do you want to incorporate that logo on the top of your page? With the eye logo and red type, or something completely different? Like a flying bagel perhaps!
It’s up to you!
Got any good T-shirt design websites that we can use? Or are there any that you would purfer to be used?
The best thing would be to send me an image (JPEG file etc.), in its final form, to be printed right on the shirt. After that, a sketch. And finally, you can just write me the idea.
IM a small screenprint shop..if you find something you like, or if i come up with a design, allow me to do the printing for you, i should be able to do a good service and save some money, and do some work for something that interests me.
tshirtking
Tshirtking, that would be fantastic!
You should post the art that is there already and you’ll provoke competition!!
where do we send the tshirt design?
Is there a limit on how many phrases we can submit?
Smitty- I don’t want to give anyone a leg up by letting them build off of others’ ideas. Good thought though.
Kathleen- You can send me an email to operations@govtrack.us with an attached image if you have one.
Sam- Nope.
Cool! I’ll throw a few your way this weekend.
How about this one…
“[Lobbyists]…
How much does a Senate vote cost?”
Or this one…
“FREE to be an Indentured Servant…WAIT, when is my release date?!!!”
josh can you provide a hi-res jpg or eps file of the govwatch.us logo for us to use?
Deeeerrrrr…govTRACK.us logo. (I blame the cold medicine I took this morning…)
I don’t have a high-res image. If we go with your design I can see if we can get one.
Contest is probably over, but down here in hunt country our T-shirt would probably look like this…
******
Donkey tracks and Elephant tracks criss-crossing the U.S. with a person (or persons) following behind with binoculars (or magnifying glass).
******
Sorry, don’t have a clue what the track of an independent would look like!
Okay, the contest is now closed! Thanks to everyone who submitted something.
I’ll post more when I have merchandise ready for sale.
The design- ers chose to change the configuration. ,
I’m glad to hear I haven’t missed a deadline! I’ve got a sketch done…just have to know where to stop! Shall I scan in to you what I have already?
OH…just saw that it was closed…oh well. I took too long. Let me know if you want to see my work anyway. The concept: Thomas Jefferson presenting your logo.
Merchandise are ready! http://www.govtrack.us/merchandise.xpd
I’ll post something more on the blog soon.
