I know we need to have a means to remove unwanted horses from being neglected tied up in backyards without feed times are tough and if they can be used for other sources the horse and people would be better off so yes there should be equine packing houses Answered by a visitor on Jun 5, 2009 4:38 PM -
Of course not! There are rescue organizations for unwanted neglected horses. If we are going to spend government money, let's spend it on supporting more of these refuges - and, in the case of wild horses, placement on protected ranges. Horses are intelligent, sentient animals. It is hard to kill a horse - difficult for the killer and terrible for the horse. We have unwanted, neglected children. Is the answer sale and slaughter of them? |
