Actually, although I could be mistaken, after reading the bill through several times now I don't see anything that would lead me to believe that it takes the decision making away from the doctor and patient team. Answered by a visitor on Aug 5, 2009 12:05 PM -
There is less encroachment - physicians are free to treat the patient without dictates of insurance companies and compensatory issues. Aug 9, 2009 11:32 AM - Why doesn't Congress just expand Medicare and Medicaid to cover the uncovered and leave the rest of us alone? -

That would not address all the waste in the current system and therefore the ever increasing costs to you others who have private coverage. |
