Jan 14, 2010 2:03 PM - If a debtor buys another property and uses that property as his "principal residence", is the deficiency resulting from a short sale of his vacated property taxable to the debtor? The debtor purchased the second home in another state as part of a move related to a job transfer. - Answer it!
