I don't know for sure but I would assume that you would be excused from drug tests if you had a doctor's note. Answered by a visitor on Dec 15, 2008 6:22 PM -
Doctor's note or not, drug tests are for the insurance companies, period. Chances are, your boss doesn't care if you get high as long as you show up for work and perform as expected. But the drug test is an out for the insurance company. To them, it's logical to deny a claim on the basis of drug use. Your employer signs a contract with said company stating explicitly that claims will be denied if something is amiss in your piss. |
