Jun 22, 2009 9:39 PM - did anyone see the last bankruptcy court order declaring all affected dealer committe exhibits and dealer testimoney to be kept confidential? What is that all about? -

Basic testimony involving disclosure of business practices, and these are privatly held companies (the dealerships). Confidentiality is granted, expected or demanded before witnesses answer questions. I'm not sure how many dealers would want to have the court or Dept. of Treasury publicize everything about their businesses nor would many be forthcoming. The court order is document 2434 Jul 6, 2009 5:10 PM - If we are trying to conserve energy, why does the goverment support a $4500.00 cash for clunker voucher to be used on H-2 Hummer? -

The cash for clunkers program is not available on vehicles that have MSRP's higher than $45,000. Hummer H2's start in the mid $60,000 range. Also, Hummer H2 does not meet minumum fuel economy for Category 1 trucks of 18 MPG. |
