Nov 11, 2009 1:00 AM - If this bill passes, would a waitress at Hooter's who had a sex change operation still be allowed to work as a waitress? I'm serious! -

The bill defines gender identity as:(6) GENDER IDENTITY- The term ?gender identity? means the gender-related identity, appearance, or mannerisms or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, with or without regard to the individual?s designated sex at birth. Therefore if a waitress at Hooter's changed her gender to male, he could not be fired because of his gender change. It would be the same if a male applicant applied to be a waiter at hooters. They could not be turned away because of their sex. Nov 17, 2009 5:33 PM - Are religious institutions covered under Title VII the same way that employers with fewer than 15 employees are? -
