This bill does authorize a study of reinstating Amtrak's Pioneer route, which served Boise, Nampa, Shoshone and Pocatello in Idaho up until 1997. I am not aware that it includes any monies specifically for the depot itself, but I do not know definitively. Answered by a visitor on Jan 13, 2009 5:36 PM -
I understand AMTRAK officials were to meet in Idaho in January 2009 with Sen.Crapo to discuss Amtrak service being re-instated in Idaho. |
