First of all, I think your idea of the public option is not correct, but that's beside the point. The Healthy Americans act has no public option included. In the most basic terms, it is a compromise that says that the Democrats are right that everyone is entitled to affordable healthcare, but the Republicans are right that it shouldn't come from the government. |
