Oct 21, 2009 11:50 AM - I am renting a home, month to month, it has been foreclosed on and went for sheriffs sale on oct 2, 2009. The lady I am renting from says I can live there from nov-march for free. Now she wants her washer and dryer out of the house and don't want to give me time to replace it with my own and says if i do not give it to her by this weekend she will have me evicted. Is this legal even after I have a recorded message from her stating I can live there for free? - Read Answers
