Mr. SLATTERY introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means
To suspend temporarily the duty on certain chemicals.
- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. TEMPORARY SUSPENSIONS OF DUTY ON CERTAIN CHEMICALS.
- Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedules of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following subheadings:

SEC. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
- The amendments made by section 1 shall apply with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
