To require the administrative agency responsible for adjudicating claims under the workers’ compensation provisions of title 5, United States Code, to select board certified physicians to provide second opinions.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PHYSICIANS PROVIDING SECOND OPINIONS.
- The administrative agency to which the Secretary of Labor has delegated the authority to adjudicate claims made under the workers’ compensation provisions of title 5, United States Code, shall only select physicians who have been certified by a board of medical specialties to provide second opinions in connection with such claims.
