Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior, acting through the Director of the National Park Service, to provide a grant to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to undertake the restoration of Washington Square in accordance with the standards established to facilitate its inclusion in Independence National Historical Park. Prohibits such grant from being used to fund more than 66.6 percent of the costs of such restoration.
Authorizes appropriations.
Authorizes the Secretary, after restoration is completed, to:
(1) enter into an agreement with Philadelphia for the lease of the Square to the National Park Service;
(2) modify the Park's boundaries to include the Square; and
(3) provide for the administration of the Square as part of the Park.
