5/1/2008--Passed Senate without amendment. (This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Directs the Clerk of the House of the Representatives to make corrections in the enrollment of H.R. 493 (Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008) to: (1) revise deadlines for implementation of requirements related to Medicare supplemental policies; (2) exempt an employer that conducts DNA analysis for purposes of human remains identification from the prohibition against an employer, labor organization, or joint labor-management committee requesting, requiring, or purchasing an employee's genetic information; and (3) remove the requirement that DNA analysis conducted by an employer for law enforcement purposes as a forensics laboratory be included in the Combined DNA Index System.
