Mr. LEVIN introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance
A BILL
To reduce temporarily the duty on certain food processors.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. CERTAIN FOOD PROCESSORS.
(a) In General- Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new heading:

‘ 9902.01.00 Food processors, each containing a DC motor with a minimum of two speeds, the foregoing having adjustable slicing disks and a sealable clear plastic bowl (provided for in subheading 8509.40.00) 1.0% No change No change On or before 12/31/2015 ’.

(b) Effective Date- The amendment made by subsection (a) applies with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
