Mr. SCHUMER introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance

A BILL

To renew and modify the temporary reduction of duty on certain low expansion laboratory glassware.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. CERTAIN LOW EXPANSION LABORATORY GLASSWARE.

    (a) In General- Heading 9902.12.39 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (relating to certain low expansion laboratory glassware) is amended--

      (1) in the article description, by striking ‘10-7’ and inserting ’ and inserting ‘10-6’; and

      (2) by striking the date in the effective period column and inserting ‘12/31/2015’.

    (b) Effective Date- The amendments made by subsection (a) apply with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the 15th day after the date of the enactment of this Act.
