To search previous Congresses, just add a slash and the Congress number, like H.R. 1828/108 or accountability/107.

You can also browse bills by subject area or by committee assignment.

Would you be surprised to know there are many bills with the same number, like H.R. 1828? Every two years (at the start of odd-numbered years) Congress restarts its numbering from 1 again. Each two-year session is called a "Congress". We're currently in the 110th Congress, which started in 2007.
