Federal Legislation

Members of Congress introduce some ten thousand bills and resolutions in each two-year session of Congress, only a small fraction of which are seriously considered and fewer still enacted as law. GovTrack fetches the status of federal legislation from the official websites using an automatic process on a daily basis. The information here is usually a day or so behind.
