Summary

To permit persons 21 years of age or older to produce a limited amount of home brewed beer, mead, cider, and table wine for personal use; to prohibit a convicted felon from home brewing such beverages; to provide penalties for violations; to amend Section 28-3-1, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to definitions of alcoholic beverages, to include definitions of mead and cider; and in connection therewith would have as its purpose or effect the requirement of a new or increased expenditure of local funds within the meaning of Amendment 621 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, now appearing as Section 111.05 of the Official Recompilation of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended.
