Trackers

We have what we call "trackers" for every aspect of Congress. You can pick up trackers throughout the site to customize your Tracked Events page or to find an RSS feed . To get email updates , you will need to log in or sign up.

General Trackers

The following general trackers cover the activity of the whole Congress. Follow the link to preview the recent events tracked by each tracker. Options to add the events to your personalized Tracked Events page or to subscribe to a feed will be presented on the next page.

	All Roll Call Votes This feed includes all roll call votes on all legislation, amendments, etcetera.
	Activity on All Legislation This feed includes all major legislative activity, including the introduction of each new bill and all votes on legislation.
	Activity on All Legislation Except Newly Introduced Bills This feed includes all major legislative activity, excluding the introduction of each new bill.
	Newly Introduced Bills This feed includes the introduction of each new bill or resolution.
	Enacted Bills This feed tracks the enactment of bills.
	Upcoming Committee Meetings This feed includes tracked upcoming Congressional committee meetings.
	Community Questions & Answers This feed includes questions posed and answers suggested by the community of GovTrack users on all topics.
	Videos from Representatives' and Senators' YouTube Channels This feed includes videos posted to the official YouTube channels of Members of Congress.

We also recommend the HouseFloor and SenateFloor Twitter feeds for close-to-live updates of Congressional action, and Legislate for a Twitter feed of votes. These are unofficial streams not created by the government or GovTrack.

Targetted Trackers

Trackers are available for every Member of Congress, bill, subject area, and congressional committe. To select these trackers, you must get to the appropriate page on GovTrack and look for the Add Tracker button.

Members of Congress

Track your elected representatives by finding your Members of Congress. Events included with these trackers are:

* Activity on bills introduced by those representatives.

* Speeches on the House and Senate floors by those representatives.

* The votes of those representatives in alerts about the passage or failure of bills.

Subject Areas

Track subject areas as classified by the Library of Congress to get alerts when

* Bills related to those subjects are introduced, voted on, and enacted.

* Speeches on the House and Senate floors mention bills that are related to those subjects.

Bills

When you are tracking individual bills, you'll get alerts when

* Any action is taken on those bills.

Committees

To track a committee, look through the committee list. Events from these trackers include:

* Bills assigned to the committee are introduced, voted on, and enacted.
