7/10/1990--Passed House amended. Amends Federal law to authorize the Secretary of the Interior to acquire property in the city of Salem, Massachusetts, for use as a visitor center at Salem Maritime National Historic Site. Requires the Secretary to conduct an economic analysis of the costs and benefits of acquiring such property and report the results to the appropriate congressional committees at least 120 days before the effective date of such acquisition. Sets forth conditions for any such acquisition, including lease terms.
