Merrimack River Study Act of 1989 - Amends the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to designate a specified segment of the Merrimack River, New Hampshire, for study as a potential addition to the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System. Requires such study to be completed not later than three years after enactment of this Act. Authorizes appropriations.
