A BILL

To authorize appropriations for the American Folklife Center for fiscal years 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AMERICAN FOLKLIFE CENTER.

    Section 8 of the American Folklife Preservation Act (20 U.S.C. 2107) is amended--

      (1) by striking out ‘and’ after ‘September 30, 1992,’; and

      (2) by inserting after ‘September 30, 1993’ the following: ‘, $1,120,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1994, $1,197,936 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1995, $1,267,272 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1996, and $1,341,158 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1997’.
