IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

Ms. LONG introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Public Works and Transportation


A BILL

To rename Huntington Lake, Indiana, the ‘J. Edward Roush Lake’.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. RENAMING OF RESERVOIR.

    Huntington Lake located on the Wabash River in Huntington and Wells Counties, Indiana, authorized by section 203 of the Flood Control Act of 1958 (72 Stat. 312) shall be known and designated as the ‘J. Edward Roush Lake’.

SEC. 2. REFERENCES.

    Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the lake referred to in section 1 shall be deemed to be a reference to the ‘J. Edward Roush Lake’.
