A BILL

To amend title 18, United States Code, to apply section 1001 to all branches of Government.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ‘Government Accountability Act of 1995’.

SEC. 2. FALSE STATEMENT AMENDMENT.

    Section 1001 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking ‘any department or agency’ and inserting ‘the executive, legislative, or judicial branch, or any department or agency thereof,’.
