A BILL

To amend title 10, United States Code, to repeal certain limitations on the operation of Department of Defense depots.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. REPEAL OF LIMITATIONS ON OPERATION OF DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE DEPOTS.

    (a) REPEAL OF 60/40 REQUIREMENT- Section 2466 of title 10, United States Code, is amended--

      (1) by striking out subsections (a), (c), (d), and (e); and

      (2) by striking out ‘(b) PROHIBITION ON MANAGEMENT BY END STRENGTH- ’.

    (b) REPEAL OF REQUIREMENT RELATING TO COMPETITION- Section 2469 of title 10, United States Code, is repealed.

    (2) The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 146 of such title is amended by striking out the items relating to section 2469.
