A BILL

To provide for the separate administration of the Border Patrol and the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. ADMINISTRATION OF THE BORDER PATROL.

    Effective October 1, 1995, the border patrol of the Immigration and Naturalization Service shall be administered through the Department of Justice under the Attorney General and shall not be part of, or administered through, the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
