A BILL

To require the Secretary of the Navy to terminate the operation of the Extremely Low Frequency Communications System of the Navy.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

    This Act may be cited as the ‘Extremely Low Frequency Communications System Termination Act’.

SEC. 2. TERMINATION OF NAVY’S EXTREMELY LOW FREQUENCY COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM.

    Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Navy shall terminate all operations of the communications system of the Navy known as the Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) system.
