A BILL

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to authorize the use of title III funds for the establishment LGBTQ resource centers.

1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Inclusive Campuses Act.

2.

Grants for LGBTQ resource centers

Part G of title III of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1068 et seq.) is amended by adding at the end the following:

399A.

Availability of funds for LGBTQ resource centers

Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, an institution that receives funds under this title may use a portion of such funds to establish an on-campus resource center that provides—

(1)

support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans­gen­der, and queer students; and

(2)

programming and education about such students to the entire campus community.
