H.R. 6013 establishes January 31 as the closing date for duck hunting in order to provide greater certainty to States and hunters in a response to the present floating cut-off dates. The bill also requires the Secretary to set at least 2 special days for youth duck hunting and 2 special days for veterans and active military personnel duck hunting within the framework. This bill will not increase the number of days or bag limit.
