A BILL

To amend the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 to repeal the prohibition for certain individuals convicted of a felony offense to participate in hemp production, and for other purposes.

1.

Short title

This Act may be cited as the Free to Grow Act of 2023.

2.

Repeal of felony with respect to hemp production

Section 297B(e)(3)(B) of the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 (7 U.S.C. 1639p(e)(3)(B)) is repealed.
