A U T H O R I Z A T I O N OF APPROPRIATIONS SEC. 18. There are hereby authorized to be appropriated such funds as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act. REPORTS SEC. 19. The Administrator shall report to the President and the Congress on the operation of the program established under this Act on or about January 15 and June 15 of each year and shall submit a final report not later than June 15,1957. Such reports shall include full and complete details regarding the administration of the Act and the administration of the funds provided for in section 16 of this Act. TERMINATION SEC. 20. No immigrant visa shall be issued under this Act after December 31, 1956. Approved August 7, 1953. R e s 121] --- Whereas, in pursuance of an act of Congress, passed on the thirtieth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and two, entitled "An Act to enable the people of the Eastern division of the territory northwest of the river Ohio to form a constitution and state govern- ment, and for the admission of such state into the Union, on an equal footing with the original States, and for other purposes", 2 Stat. 173. the people of the said territory did, on the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and two, by a convention called for that purpose, form for themselves a constitution and state government, which constitution and state government, so formed is republican, and in conformity to the principles of the articles of compact between the original States and the people and States in the territory north-west of the river Ohio, passed on the thirteenth day of July, one thousand seven hundred and eighty- seven : Therefore, be it u s e . 1952 ed., p . XXXV. Resolved hy the Senate and House of Representatives of the United, States of America in Congress assembled^ That the State of Ohio, ^^^^ Ohio. Admission i n t o shall be one, and is hereby declared to be one, of the United States of uiSon America, and is admitted into the Union on an equal footing with the original States, in all respects whatever.
