[H.R. 15059] Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Emergency United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 8 of livestock credit. the Emergency Livestock Credit Act of 1974 (88 Stat. 391, as amended; 7 U.S.C. Prec. 1961) is amended to read as follows: "SEC. 8. The provisions of this Act shall become effective upon en-actment, and the authority to make new guarantees shall expire on September 30, 1978.".
