             To designate the "George Mahoii Federal Building".           Oct. 27, 1978

  Be it etuicted hy the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress a^ssembled, That the Federal        George Mahon
building, United States post office and courthouse located in Midland,   Federal Building,
Texas, is hereby designated as the "George Mahon Federal Building".      Tex.
Any reference in any law, regulation, document, record, map, or other    Designation.
paper of the United States to such building shall be considered to be
a reference to the George Mahon Federal Building,
   SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on January 4,1979.                 Effective date.
