                                  An Act
To amend the Interstate Commerce Act to authorize appropriations for the Office    Feb. 15. 1978
                   of Rail Public Counsel for fiscal year 1078.                     [H.R. 57981

  Be it enacted hy the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled^ That Section 27(6)                Rail Public
of the Interstate Commerce Act (49 U.S.C. 26b(6)) is amended—                     Counsel.
        (1) by striking out "and" immediately after "1976,"; and                  Appropriation
                                                                                  authorization.
        (2) by inserting immediately before the period at the end
     thereof the following: ", and not to exceed $1,000,000 for the fiscal
     year ending September 30, 1978".
  Approved February 15, 1978.
