2/13/1979--Introduced. Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to include within the medical and other health services covered by such title the transportation of patients confined to a stretcher or wheelchair in a vehicle which is not equipped as an ambulance but which is adequately equipped to transport such patients.
