(Measure passed House, amended, roll call #111 (416-0)) States that the Congress: (1) commends Colombia for its recent seizure of record amounts of cocaine; (2) congratulates Colombia and the Colombian National Council on Dangerous Drugs on the decision to conduct the testing of herbicidal eradication methods which can be used to eliminate the cultivation of cannabis and coca; (3) expresses its hope and encouragement that the pilot eradication program becomes a sustained program to eliminate the cultivation of cannabis and coca; and (4) deplores the assassination of Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, Minister of Justice of Colombia, and extends its condolences to his family.
