                   Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
Export           United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 20 of
Administration
Act of 1979,     the Export Administration Act of 1979 (50 U.S.C. App. 2419) is
authority        amended by striking out "September 30" and inserting in lieu
extension.       thereof "October 14".
                   SEC. 2. There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department
                 of Commerce for the fiscal year 1984 such sums as may be necessary
