Baldwin was a senator from Georgia and was a Republican. He served from 1805 to 1807.
He was previously a senator from Georgia as a Republican from 1799 to 1805; the representative for Georgia as a Republican from 1797 to 1799; the representative for Georgia’s at-large district as a Republican from 1795 to 1797; the representative for Georgia’s at-large district as a Democratic Republican from 1793 to 1795; the representative for Georgia’s 2nd congressional district as a Democratic Republican from 1791 to 1793; and the representative for Georgia’s 2nd congressional district as a Democratic Republican from 1789 to 1791.
