by examining thousands of pages of census records and historical documents.

From Dec 1857 to Mar 1861, Jenkins missed 392 of 981 roll call votes, which is 40.0%. This is much worse than the median of 24.1% among the lifetime records of representatives serving in Mar 1861. The chart below reports missed votes over time.
