Former Representative for Indiana’s 8th District

White was the representative for Indiana’s 8th congressional district and was a Republican. He served from 1861 to 1863.

He was previously a senator from Indiana as a Whig from 1839 to 1845; and the representative for Indiana’s 7th congressional district as a Whig from 1837 to 1839.
