He was previously the representative for Kentucky’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1883 to 1885; the representative for Kentucky’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1881 to 1883; and the representative for Kentucky’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1877 to 1881.
