He was previously the representative for Ohio’s 10th congressional district as a Republican from 1875 to 1877; the representative for Ohio’s 10th congressional district as a Republican from 1873 to 1875; and the representative for Ohio’s 9th congressional district as a Republican from 1871 to 1873.
