He was previously the representative for Mississippi’s 7th congressional district as a Democrat from 1893 to 1895; the representative for Mississippi’s 7th congressional district as a Democrat from 1891 to 1893; the representative for Mississippi’s 7th congressional district as a Democrat from 1889 to 1891; the representative for Mississippi’s 7th congressional district as a Democrat from 1887 to 1889; the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1881 to 1883; the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1877 to 1881; and the representative for Mississippi’s 5th congressional district as a Democrat from 1875 to 1877.
