He was previously the representative for Rhode Island as an Anti Masonic from 1833 to 1835; the representative for Rhode Island as an Anti Mason from 1831 to 1833; the representative for Rhode Island as an Anti Mason from 1829 to 1831; the representative for Rhode Island as an Adams from 1827 to 1829; and the representative for Rhode Island as an Adams from 1825 to 1827.
