He was previously the representative for Illinois’s 17th congressional district as a Democrat from 1891 to 1893; the representative for Illinois’s 17th congressional district as a Democrat from 1889 to 1891; and the representative for Illinois’s 17th congressional district as a Democrat from 1887 to 1889.
