He was previously a senator from Nebraska as a Republican from 1925 to 1931; a senator from Nebraska as a Republican from 1913 to 1925; the representative for Nebraska’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1907 to 1913; the representative for Nebraska’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1905 to 1907; and the representative for Nebraska’s 5th congressional district as a Republican from 1903 to 1905.
