by examining thousands of pages of census records and historical documents.

From Dec 1819 to Mar 1823, Bryan missed 113 of 242 roll call votes, which is 46.7%. This is much worse than the median of 13.3% among the lifetime records of representatives serving in Mar 1823. The chart below reports missed votes over time.
