He was previously a senator from Indiana as a Republican from 1916 to 1927; the representative for Indiana’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1907 to 1909; the representative for Indiana’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1905 to 1907; the representative for Indiana’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1903 to 1905; the representative for Indiana’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1901 to 1903; the representative for Indiana’s 6th congressional district as a Republican from 1899 to 1901; and the representative for Indiana’s 4th congressional district as a Republican from 1895 to 1897.
