Former Senator for Mississippi

Speight was a senator from Mississippi and was a Democrat. He served from 1845 to 1847.

He was previously the representative for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district as a Jackson from 1835 to 1837; the representative for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district as a Jackson from 1833 to 1835; the representative for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district as a Jackson from 1831 to 1833; and the representative for North Carolina’s 4th congressional district as a Jackson from 1829 to 1831.
